What dietary changes have you made to TTC?

Well all three times I have become pregnant has been when I've decided to lose a little weight, including this last time!! This month I quit ALL TTC "stuff", only BD'd around the right time, started back on my healthy eating track and was about to try wu-yi tea and acai berry when voila, I got my BFP yesterday lol, so out the window with the "diet" and on with just healthy healthy eating. When I was actually "trying", I was taking evening primrose oil, tried pre-seed, tried robitussin, used opk's relentlessley, charted my bbt and the month I stopped ALL of it, I got pregnant.... I'm beginning to believe it's true that if you stop trying your body relaxes and mother nature takes it's course....

I have slight OCD and anxiety in hereditary in my family. When my moms at work or in cl, Ill send her multiple text messages if shes 5-10 minutes late from the time she tells me she'll be home. And if shes 30 min to an hour late, ill freak out and cry and shake and get scared that something happend to her. Sometimes her and my dad'll fight and i will literally shake as if im having a seizure and cry and send her texts and call her because i get scared. My boyfriend (21) got the surgery 2 and a half years ago. He has been good since. But he gets these major stomache aches, they use to be usually after he ate something containing nuts or mayonaise. My Friends hate each other?

Ok. I have these friends Valeria, Britani, Kayleigh, and Darion. I'm going into the 8th grade and I have known Valeria since 6th grade and I GUESS we're best friends. I came out of the store yesterday and noticed a wet spot under my van (1998 Plymouth Voyager) and noticed a drip from the radiator over fill area. I figured I had a leak. This morning I went out and opened the overfill tank and noticed it is COMPLETELY full. I opened the radiator cap and that is COMPLETELY full as well. When I sing I try to sing lke Demi Lovato, but I can't hit the high notes right. I'm still only 12 and my voice is lower than my other friends. 4 yr old's first trip to allergist, what can we expect?

One of my youngest (a twin) has had allergic reactions to some foods since starting solids. No horrific reactions, or ER trips due to it, but with different foods gets red splotches, a red ring and hives on and around his mouth. So far I have been able to end it with benedryl. Since there is no definite pattern or specific food or dye I wanted to take him to an allergist before he enters preschool, so we don't have a fiasco in school. What should I expect the allergist to do? The office lady I spoke with said they would place a patch with 8 tiny needles on his back that would contain the common allergens and it would not be painfull. It would be more traumatic from him just fearing a new doctor and what they are going to do than pain. Then I have had an adult family friend say that patch thing is painfull and burns. So what should I expect or be dreading?

What effect does T.V. and Computers have in ones life in your opinion. What kind of life does it help create?

TV allows those in need of an escape a way out of reality. It provides them the opportunity to live as someone else, somewhere else. It is also used as a way to dodge the responsibility of child raising. The problem is not so much with TV in itself as it is the contents. There is so much desensitizing that accompanies television. Our children are being raised by someone who tells them it is ok to speak crudely to others. They are under the illusion that what they say or do will not have any impact on another human being. They are also desensitized to violence when they see the wrestlers on TV and strive to be like them. This concept applies to both "Entertainment" wrestling and MMA. Combine the fact that while some children are being desensitized to the feelings of others and some are striving to perfect their "ground and pound skills"; there's no wonder we are battling to keep kids safe in this day and age.

Oh wow, well. I always tried to look for red flags, most of the obsessive issues are stemmed from lack of self esteem. crippling insecurity if you will...no that this justifies such behavior but its commonly the cause. So for starters, major insecurity is a red flag for me. Jealousy, possessiveness, controlling...i think its off putting if someone tells you they love you really fast. But go with your instincts, if you feel uneasy and like there is something off about them then run the other way and save yourself the heartache and drama! There are plenty of intelligent and stable men in this fine world for some reason we tend to get caught up on the broken ones. My first relationship was with an extremely insecure guy and he was impossible to be with, and miserable all the time. I finally realized I was not a mental hospital and could not fix him lol!! Problem with a gas fireplace?

we just got a new gas fireplace and had to run a copper line to hook it to the gas line. the flame comes on, but it's very small and doesn't put out hardly any heat. is it possible that the plastic accordion - type line that connects the copper line to the fireplace is too narrow? all other appliances in the house (the stove & hot water heater) are all completely lit, it's just the fireplace. does anyone have any suggestions as to what it could be?

How do I find a Church...?

I am praying, reading scripture, and searching very hard to find a church. We are suppose to have fellowship with one another and this is why I feel this is so important to me. I find it important to have a church that doesn't just get together once or twice a week and then its members seem to forget about God the rest of the time. I come from a baptist background and that is exactly how it felt. I want somewhere that is open always to its members. Catholicism sounded great at first, but I have heard numerous arguments for the prayers to God through the saints and I have decided that I cannot believe it is acceptable to God, regardless of how much I think the rosary is a neat idea or how dedicated catholics can be. I have done so much research it is insane. I find things about the churches that I think "this could be the one" but then something comes to my attention that I find deeply troubling about the faith. I want a church that follows the bible. SO many claim to do this, but the church described in the bible is WAY different than anything I have ever seen. Jehovah's witness seems to be almost exactly doing what the bible says to do. They do not ornament churches, or have idols all over the place. They go door to door and spread the word of God. They meet very similar to the way it is described in Acts. They hold reverence for his name (which has tragically been lost throughout so much of the world). My big problem is that they have this magazine that they follow when studying and they believe that reading the bible alone will lead them astray. That is very troubling to me, but everything else seems so spot on and no other denomination I have found has even come close. The jewish faith seems very correct except the fact that they don't believe Christ was the savior. Mormons have some great points but they have more books than JW's do. There are so many other things I could put on here but I don't have time. I desperately want to find the trueth. God is most important and comes first. We are here to worship and praise him. He comes first. I just want to find the fellowship that truelly feels the same way. Please give me guidance if you have wisdom of the lord. God bless. ok first and foremost he should get in trouble for what he did, BUT. I think this guy is just screwing with him. They got into a fight last Sunday, there were some marks yes. The guy told my friend he has a cop as a friend and has filed against him. Ive had alot of problems with animals recently but nothing compared to this?

I live in a cabin, faraway from civilization. Im not even sure how i managed to get internet here but long story short i recently found this animal on the floor. It looks like a combination of a frog and wolf. Well i took it into house to see just what the heck it was. It looks like a male but im not sure. I watched it recently after much encouragement and hype from other people and I'm confused: why is it considered such a great movie? I thought it was awful and boring. I have strange in violent taste in movies sometimes, if the movie is good enough to make up for it; I loved Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Requiem for a Dream, After Hours, even Eraserhead, another David Lynch movie, so that isn't what I dislike it. I just couldn't see why people make such a big deal about it. Is it because it was revolutionary for the time, with all the violence and dark side of american culture stuff? Is there another reason? so i quit my bc pills in dec 08 to try and get pregnant again ( i have a 4 yr old). well i didnt have a period at all.. so in may i went to the doc and she gave me provera pills to induce my period.. so i took them and had a period may 28-jun 2. So i was thinkin i would start back, no luck. no period (again!) and no bfp. weve been tryin since jan09, and i rlly didnt think it would be this hard!! why is it that when you dont try it happens, and when you do it doesnt! ugh its aggrevating!!! Sorry had to vent! i think im just going to see what happens, no more pills or anything just kind of put a rest on trying and maybe it will happen...! Good luck everyone!

I suspicion was that Satan had a hold on her so I prayed that Jesus would cast the demons out as I baptized her. After a while, Miss Kitty calmed down and accepted Jesus. My wife and i lost our 2 year old son a couple of months ago and we are both still taking it horribly. Well to be honest our marriage has never been so low our two year old was our first and my wife is 6 months pregnant with another baby boy and were both extremely wary about to and scared.
