How long will 8 c batteries last in my boom-box for?

I currently own a curtis brand name boom-box and am going to use it for a trip I'm going on. Id like to know approximately how long "8 c 1.5 volt" batteries will last me if I'm just to play one CD throughout the whole day... Feedback would be greatly appreciated
