Last lmp was oct 17th, took preg test on nov 17th, bfp. Ok now a couple weeks preg?

I am now roughly about 5 weeks preg i was told at the e.r. Have some light bleeding not my period and some cramping could this be a miscarriage? Bleeding started sunday morning and hasn't let up yet ? Need answers plz????
