Is my mum trying to destroy my privacy?

Often I hide in my room to escape conflict, but I have found recently that the more I hide in my room, my mother tracks me down, and makes a lot of noise in the corridor next to my room. She always seems to be in the same part of the house - and when I'm in my room, minding my own business, she'll come in and glare at me, and ask me what I'm doing.
