Why do many actors say that have been possesed by demons?

I watched a doentary and many actors have said they have been possesed by demons and many said they even helped with their acting. I remember Lucy Ball, Marilyn Monroe, Kevin Bacon, Johnny Depp, Oprah, Densel Washington,Leonardo De Caprio, Steve O, and many many more said this. I will try to find the link if i can find it.
