Signs a guy is mentally unstable?

Oh wow, well. I always tried to look for red flags, most of the obsessive issues are stemmed from lack of self esteem. crippling insecurity if you will...no that this justifies such behavior but its commonly the cause. So for starters, major insecurity is a red flag for me. Jealousy, possessiveness, controlling...i think its off putting if someone tells you they love you really fast. But go with your instincts, if you feel uneasy and like there is something off about them then run the other way and save yourself the heartache and drama! There are plenty of intelligent and stable men in this fine world for some reason we tend to get caught up on the broken ones. My first relationship was with an extremely insecure guy and he was impossible to be with, and miserable all the time. I finally realized I was not a mental hospital and could not fix him lol!!
