Arab League to UN: impose no fly zone over Libya?
The Arab League, 22 nations, have tonight gave their backing on a no fly zone with only 2countries voting against, Syria and Algeria. They have no told the UN to impose the no fly zone immediately to protect civilians who are being pushed back in many towns as Gadaffi regains control town by town. The UN said last week that it needed the ARAB league to agree to the no fly zone before doing it, now they have so we are waiting for the UN to react, which is expected to be the UN saying they are going to do it. So is the 1st step finally going to take place? Do you agree a no fly zone should be implemented? Do you think it would be effective, even if it's a limited effect?
